"I took on a new challenge: training for the Maratona Dolomiti. I used to train the same way all the time – just riding for two hours without specific intervals or much variation. I used to train almost the same way every time. What was new to me was the variety, especially training in lower zones, which gave my endurance a real boost. The structured approach made me fitter! I could feel my fitness improving, and I also noticed that during sprint sessions, I was generating much more power than before.
Alan’s coaching is fantastic. He may be coaching remotely, but he still feels very present. The training sessions help you get stronger and fitter, and Alan keeps an eye on your progress and motivates you. It’s a great way to stay accountable and improve step by step.
