As in Bocholtz (the Netherlands) there was a lot of mud on the short course in Landgraaf, this made the round very technical. The difference at the Masters category was made early in the race. After two laps rode Pacal Alleleijn and Lino Colombo away from the others. Although Pascal fell in two laps because he became entangled in the ribbon that marks the track, both cyclist stayed together till the last lap.
After his third place on December 31 in Bocholtz, Lino showed that his form is good. On a technical part in the final of the race he left his opponents behind and rode alone to the finish.
